| Citation and commencement |
| 1. This Order may be cited as the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (India) Order 2005 and shall come into operation on 4th November 2005. |
| Declaration of India as prescribed foreign country |
| 2. India is hereby declared as a prescribed foreign country for the purposes of Part III of the Act. |
