(Exemption from Section 39G)
Order 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Postal Services Act, the Minister for Communications and Information makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Postal Services (Exemption from Section 39G) Order 2021 and comes into operation on 14 May 2021.
Exemption from section 39G(1) of Act
2.—(1)  Each of the following persons is exempt from section 39G(1) of the Act in respect of a relevant parcel locker provided or operated in or on any specified premises by that person, during the exemption period mentioned in sub‑paragraph (2) for that relevant parcel locker:
(a)Blu Logistics Pte Ltd;
(b)Singapore Post Limited.
(2)  The exemption period for a relevant parcel locker provided or operated in or on any specified premises is the period starting on 14 May 2021 and ending on the date of expiry or termination of the relevant agreement for the provision or operation of the relevant parcel locker at those specified premises.
(3)  In this paragraph —
“relevant agreement”, in relation to a relevant parcel locker, means an agreement for the provision or operation of the relevant parcel locker in or on any specified premises that is entered into before 14 May 2021, but excludes any such agreement that is renewed on or after that date;
“relevant parcel locker”, in relation to a person mentioned in sub‑paragraph (1), means a parcel locker that the person —
(a)provides or operates in or on any specified premises immediately before 14 May 2021 under a relevant agreement; and
(b)continues, on or after that date, to provide or operate in or on those specified premises under that relevant agreement;
“specified premises” has the meaning given by section 23A of the Act.
