| Citation and commencement |
| 1. These Regulations are the Resource Sustainability (Beverage Container Return Scheme) Regulations 2024 and come into operation on 12 July 2024. |
| Prescribed material of beverage containers |
| 2. For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of “beverage container” in section 23M(1) of the Act, the prescribed material is any plastic or metal. |
| Prescribed volume of beverage containers |
| 3. For the purposes of paragraph (c) of the definition of “beverage container” in section 23M(1) of the Act, the prescribed volume is between 150 millilitres and 3,000 millilitres (both inclusive). |
