Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) (Amendment) Act (Commencement) Notification 2003
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2002, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) (Amendment) Act (Commencement) Notification 2003.
2.—(1)  The Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) (Amendment) Act 2002 shall, with the exception of sections 3, 4, 6 and 8, come into operation on 1st April 2003.
(2)  Sections 3 and 8 shall come into operation on 1st May 2003.
(3)  Section 6 shall come into operation on 1st July 2003.
(4)  Section 4 shall come into operation on 1st December 2003.
