(Commencement) Notification 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Immigration (Amendment) Act 2023, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification is the Immigration (Amendment) Act 2023 (Commencement) Notification 2024.
2.  Sections 2(b), (e), (f) and (q), 3 to 8, 10, 11(a), 12(c) to (g), 13(b), (c), (d), (f) and (g), 14, 15, 16, 18, 28 to 34, 36, 37, 38, 39(a) and (b), 40, 42(c) and (d), 44, 45, 51, 54 to 58, 60, 62(b), 63(1), 65(a), 66(a), (c) and (d), 69(a), 79(b) and (d), 80(b), 81(b) to (e) and 83 of the Immigration (Amendment) Act 2023 come into operation on 31 December 2024.
