Fire Safety (Amendment) Act (Commencement) Notification 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Fire Safety (Amendment) Act 2004, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Fire Safety (Amendment) Act (Commencement) Notification 2004.

2.—(1) The Fire Safety (Amendment) Act 2004 shall come into operation on 15th April 2004 with the exception of the following provisions:

(a)	sections 3, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14 to 22 and 26;
(b)	paragraphs (a) to (g) of section 25; and
(c)	items (1) and (2) in the Schedule.

(2) Sections 3, 10, 11 and 12 shall come into operation on 1st July 2004.
