(Commencement) Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Securities and Futures (Amendment) Act 2012, Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam, charged with the responsibility for the portfolio of the Prime Minister as regards the Monetary Authority of Singapore, hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Securities and Futures (Amendment) Act 2012 (Commencement) Notification 2014.

2. Sections 33, 34(a) and 36 to 39 of the Securities and Futures (Amendment) Act 2012 shall come into operation on 1st May 2014.
