Securities and Futures (Amendment) Act 2012
(Commencement) Notification 2016
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Securities and Futures (Amendment) Act 2012, the Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies, Prime Minister’s Office, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who is charged with the responsibility for the portfolio of the Prime Minister as regards securities and futures, makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification is the Securities and Futures (Amendment) Act 2012 (Commencement) Notification 2016.
2.  Sections 52 to 55, 57 to 66, 71, 73, 75, 76 and 77 of the Securities and Futures (Amendment) Act 2012 come into operation on 19 August 2016.
