Citation and commencement |
1. These Rules may be cited as the Pingat Perkhidmatan Operasi Home Team (Home Team Operational Service Medal) Rules 2014 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2014. |
Definitions |
2. In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires —

Designation of Medal |
3. There shall be a medal designated and styled the Pingat Perkhidmatan Operasi Home Team (Home Team Operational Service Medal) (referred to in these Rules as the Medal). |
Award of Medal and Bar |
Description of Medal |
5.—(1) The Medal shall consist of a 5-petalled shape in 925 sterling silver.

6.—(1) The Bar shall be represented by a clasp, which —

Wearing of Medal and Bar |
7.—(1) The Medal shall be worn by its recipient on the left side of the outer garment, suspended by a ribbon measuring 35 mm in width and 50 mm in length.

Publication of recipients’ names |
8. The name of any person who receives the Medal or Bar shall be published in the Gazette. |
Forfeiture of Medal or Bar |
9. The Permanent Secretary may order the forfeiture of any Medal or Bar awarded to any person under these Rules, if that person —

Replacement of Medal or Bar |
10.—(1) A recipient may report the loss or destruction of the recipient’s Medal or Bar to the Deputy Secretary or to the relevant Head of Home Team Agency.
