| 1. This Notification is the Mental Capacity (Amendment) Act 2016 (Commencement) Notification 2018. |
| 2. Sections 2(a), 3(a), 5 to 8, 10, 15 and 17(1) and (2) of the Mental Capacity (Amendment) Act 2016 come into operation on 1 September 2018. |
