In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Employment of Foreign Manpower (Amendment) Act 2012, Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Manpower, hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Employment of Foreign Manpower (Amendment) Act 2012 (Commencement) Notification 2012.

2. The Employment of Foreign Manpower (Amendment) Act 2012 shall come into operation on 9th November 2012.
