Citation
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Singapore Sports Council (Common Seal) Regulations.
Common seal
2.—(1)  The Council shall adopt a common seal, which may from time to time be broken, changed, altered and made anew as the Council thinks fit, and shall not be used except by the authority of a resolution of the Council or a committee appointed by the Council in that behalf.
(2)  All deeds, documents and other instruments requiring the seal of the Council shall be sealed with the common seal of the Council and every instrument to which the common seal is affixed shall be signed by a member of the Council and the Chief Executive Director or such other person appointed by the Council for that purpose.
(3)  Any contract or other document, which if made between private persons or by a private person would be required to be in writing under seal, shall if made by the Council be in writing under the common seal of the Council.
(4)  Any contract or other document, which if made between private persons would be required to be in writing signed by the parties to be charged therewith, shall if made by the Council be either in writing under the common seal of the Council or in writing signed by the Chief Executive Director on behalf of and by direction of the Council or signed by any other person on behalf of and pursuant to the authority of the Council.
