Citation
1.  This Order may be cited as the Visiting Forces (Internal Security Act) Order.
Application of Order
2.—(1)  The visiting forces to which this Order applies are those of the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
(2)  This Order shall apply only to visiting forces acting under the provisions of Parts II and III of the Internal Security Act [Cap. 143], in respect of any act done or omitted in a security area under that Act.
Application of Internal Security Act
3.  All the powers, privileges and immunities which would be enjoyed or would be capable of being conferred on the visiting forces to which this Order applies if such forces were part of any of the Singapore Armed Forces by or under the Internal Security Act, and any subsidiary legislation made thereunder are hereby conferred on such visiting forces; and where by that Act or legislation the doing of anything is prohibited, restricted or required in relation to any of the Singapore Armed Forces or their members or Service courts or other persons in any way connected therewith, or to any property used or to be used for the purposes of the Singapore Armed Forces, such prohibition, restriction or requirement shall have effect in the case of the visiting forces to which this Order applies to the extent to which it would have effect if the visiting forces were a part of any of the Singapore Armed Forces.
